Ebooks & More:
If you haven’t checked out the library’s new HOOPLA service, give it a look!  You can check out ebooks, audiobooks, movies, comics and more.  You’ll need an updated library card to sign up at first, but then you can use your HOOPLA account on all of your devices.  Stop by the library or give us a call (336-449-6455) to learn more.

For Families:

Mystery at the Library | Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 12:00 PM – Can you solve the mystery?  Teams of 1-6 people can attempt to solve the mystery at the library – but you only have 20 minutes to figure it out!  Sign up for your time slot by calling the library at 336-449-6455.  Appropriate for all ages, but kids under 10 need an adult on their team!

Movie Matinee | Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM – We will be watching the Lorax in honor of Earth Day and plan to release our library-raised butterflies!

 

Storytimes:

Toddler Storytime | Wednesdays at 10:00 AM – Kids 3 and under and their caregivers are invited to come enjoy stories, fingerplays, and songs.

Pre-K Storytime | Wednesdays at 11:00 AM – This storytime, geared for 4-5 year olds, features stories, crafts and activities.

 

After-School:
Books & Barks | Monday, March 27, 2017 at 3:00 PM – Therapy dog Cloud will be at the library to listen to your stories! Register for a time to sit and read with Cloud at the library by calling 336-449-6455. For all ages.
After-School Activity Thursday, April 06, 2017 at 4:00 PM | Join us for a team building project this afternoon. Each team will have to build a structure without using their hands…that should make things interesting! Intended for elementary/middle school students.
After-School Activity Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 4:00 PM | A special outdoor education activity with local water conservation group. Intended for elementary/middle school students.

For Teens:

TAG Meeting | Fourth Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM – First meeting of 2017 is March 23.  Help us plan future events for teens at the library!  For ages 13-18.  Learn more at www.gibsonville.net/TAG
