Join us on Thursday November 2nd and enjoy a bite-sized Thanksgiving meal prepared by YOU! If you have food allergies, be aware that we will be cooking and eating real food at this event.

Grab a friend and come play some games at the library! Play classics such as Uno or Guess Who, or try something new like Labyrinth! Feel free to bring some of your own games from home as well! All ages welcome.  Friday, November 3rd, at 1:30.
Book Club Meeting         Saturday November 4th at 12:30 pm
Did you know the library has a book club? We will be meeting the first Saturday of each month from 12:30-2:30. The next meeting will be Saturday November 4th.

Tuesday Morning Storytimes   10:00 AM
Children birth – age 5 are invited (along with their caregivers) to visit the library for story time! Share songs, stories, and activities with Miss Ashley. Storytimes will be held in the library’s community room, so space is limited. No registration is required for Tuesday morning storytimes – walk-ins and first-time visitors are welcome.

STEAM activities   Tuesdays at 4:00 PM      giblib.org/steam
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities are back, just a little different.  Activities for children in Kindergarten – 2nd grade will be on the first and third Tuesday of each month.   Activities for children in 3rd – 5th grade will be on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.  If there is a fifth Tuesday in a month, we will have an all-ages activity. This month:
K-2  Tuesday November 7th and Tuesday November 21st at 4:00pm
3-5  Tuesday November 14th  and Tuesday November 28th at 4:00pm

Homeschool Activities, Wednesdays at 11:00 AM

TAG plans to meet twice per month to discuss and plan programming, suggest materials to add to the library’s collection, plan service projects, and more! November meetings will be Thursday November 9th at 5:30 & Tuesday November 21st at 5:30.

Knitting/Crochet Club
Like to knit or crochet? Want to learn? Come join the Knitting/Crochet club to get advice and share ideas with others who love knitting/crochet as much as you do. Open to all ages and skill levels.
