News & Announcements:

A Month of Movies at the Library
Beat the heat every weekday in August (until school starts) with a FREE family movie at the library! Movies start at 2:00 PM every day in the library’s meeting room.  All August movies are rated PG, but parents should be aware that some movies may not be appropriate for all ages – remember, PG means “Parental Guidance” is suggested.  You can find the full schedule of showings here, on the library’s new website.

New Library Website
That’s right! We’ve updated our online space as well as our library building–have you stopped by lately to see the changes?  The library’s website is the place to start if you want to find a book or movie at the library, check your library account, borrow ebooks, view our events calendar and much, much more.  Bookmark us today at www.gibsonvillelibrary.org

Fine Free Summer Continues: June – August 2018
We want to give every family the ability and confidence to check out and read as many books as they want this summer. To help reach that goal, the library will not charge late fees on items returned in  August 2018. Books will still have due dates, and we encourage you to return your books as soon as you have finished them so someone else can enjoy them. Replacement costs for lost and damaged books will still be charged. But if you find that long overdue or “lost” book this summer, you can turn it in without worrying about any fines.

Gibsonville Rocks Tees!
Let the world know how much Gibsonville rocks while supporting a great cause: our library!  This  shirt was designed as a fundraiser for the Gibsonville Public Library and coordinates with our summer theme of “Gibsonville Rocks!”
Because of the success of these shirts, we are now able to offer them without any order limits or deadlines! Shirts can be ordered in adult and child sizes for $17-$18 each plus $5 shipping per order.  Place your order online at https://www.bonfire.com/gibsonville-rocks/
