Turn in those Summer Reading Logs!
Don’t forget to turn in your completed Summer Reading Log by July 31st!
Even though our scheduled Summer Reading activities ended July 17, you can still explore our virtual programs and Around Town Story Hunt.
Make sure you get all of your earned badges when you turn in your final reading log, too.
Find virtual activities and more summer info at giblb.org/summer.
Taking a break from regular programming…
There will be no regular storytimes or STEAM activities scheduled in August. We’re taking a break after a busy 6 weeks of Summer Reading and getting ready for a year of new activities starting in September.
Watch for announcements of what’s coming up on our Facebook and Instagram.

Aug 25 – Community Conversation: Missing Pieces – What do you need?
Community Conversations – What are your missing pieces?
The Gibsonville Public Library is organizing a series of community conversations to find out what pieces are still missing to help our Gibsonville families bounce back from Covid-19. Help us determine the best day, time, and method to bring our community together in conversation. Our goal is to gather real, useful information from a broad, diverse sampling of our community and share what we learn with our local schools, government, and community groups. The more we know about what our community REALLY needs right now, the better we as a town will be able to respond with effective and relevant services. You can read more about this project at giblib.org/ltc
Bonus Borrows are back in August!
Need more than 5 borrows a month on Hoopla? Check out Hoopla Bonus Borrows! They don’t count against your borrowing limit, and they’re FREE for the library, too!
Remember, bonus borrows won’t be available until August 1st, but then you can find them by searching for “Bonus Borrows” at hoopladigital.com
