Knitting/Crochet Club
Like to knit or crochet? Want to learn? Come join the Knitting/Crochet club to get advice and share ideas with others who love knitting/crochet as much as you do. Open to all ages and skill levels. Supplies are available for anyone who doesn’t have their own. The Knitting Club will meet this month on Thursdays August 8th & 22nd at 3:30 PM.

Medicare 101 Wednesday August 28th 5:30pm
Are you eligible to enroll in Medicare but don’t know where to start? On Wednesday August 28th at 5:30pm Patrick Burch, a volunteer with AARPNC and SHIIP, will be here to lead an information session about Medicare.
This session will give you an overview of the different parts of Medicare, coverage and costs, and choices of plans. It is a good overview for anyone interested in Medicare and will provide you with resources and tools to learn more.

Back to School Bash Saturday, August 3 9 AM
Head Downtown on Saturday August 3rd for Gibsonville’s Back to School Bash! This FREE event will feature a bounce house, face painting, and a balloon artist all on the Downtown Green. School supplies and non-perishable food items can be donated at the event. School supplies will be given to Gibsonville Elementary School to distribute as needed, and food donations will benefit the Library’s Community Pantry.
