Holiday Open House and Cookie Exchange
Thursday December 7th 4:00pm – 7:00pm   
It’s time for the library’s annual Holiday Cookie Exchange!! Cookies will be accepted Tues. Dec. 5, 9 AM – 7 PM, Wed. Dec. 6, 9 AM – 7 PM, and Thurs. Dec. 7 before 4 PM.  Please bring at least 3 dozen to share.

    • We welcome all types of cookies and easily portioned candies/desserts like fudge, fruit bars, peanut brittle, peppermint bark, etc.
    • Please include ingredient information with your cookies so that we can ensure those with dietary restrictions are safe and happy at our cookie exchange.
    • Leftover cookies not claimed by 5 PM Friday, Dec. 8  will be discarded or donated.

Game Day        Monday December 4th at 5:30 pm
Grab a friend and come play some games at the library! Play classics such as Uno or Guess Who, or try something new like Labyrinth! Feel free to bring some of your own games from home as well. All ages welcome.  Monday, December 4th, at 5:30.

Percy Jackson Week            Tues December 12th – Sat December 16th
Did you know the new Percy Jackson series premieres on December 20th? Come spend the week before celebrating all things Percy Jackson! Determine your godly parent, enjoy some blue food, and complete some fun Percy Jackson themed activities! Tuesday-Thursday activities will be from 5:30 – 6:30pm, and Saturday you can test your knowledge with Percy Jackson trivia at 1:00pm. Registration is required for the trivia. Tuesday Morning Storytimes – 10:00 AM in the Community Room
Children birth – age 5 are invited (along with their caregivers) to visit the library for story time! Share songs, stories, and activities with Miss Ashley. Storytimes will be held in the library’s community room, so space is limited. No registration is required for Tuesday morning storytimes – walk-ins and first-time visitors are welcome.

Activities for children in Kindergarten – 2nd grade will be on the first and third Tuesday of each month.  Activities for children in 3rd – 5th grade will be on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. If there is a fifth Tuesday, we will have an all-ages activity. This month:

Teen Advisory Group (TAG) Meeting
TAG hopes to bring together area teens to discuss and plan programming, suggest materials to add to the library’s collection, plan service projects, and more! December’s meeting will be Tuesday December 5th at 5:30pm.

Knitting/Crochet Club
Like to knit or crochet? Want to learn? Come join the Knitting/Crochet club to get advice and share ideas with others who love knitting/crochet as much as you do. Open to all ages and skill levels. Supplies are available for anyone who doesn’t have their own.  December’s meeting will be Saturday Dec 9 at 10am.
