Culture Fest 2023 Saturday May 13 at 1:00 PM
The Gibsonville Library is proud to bring Culture Fest to Downtown Gibsonville for its third year on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 1 pm – 5 pm at the Downtown Gibsonville Green. The festival seeks to celebrate cultural diversity in our community by providing fun performances, activities and vendors that represent a variety of cultures. Navigating the Job Market Q & A Panel Thursday May 4th at 4:00 PM
On Thursday May 4th the library will host an information session where the community is invited to ask questions regarding navigating the job market. You can email your questions ahead of the event to rshive@giblib.org, or come ask the panel of experts yourself. Learn about the interview process, negotiating the terms of a job offer, what a strong resume looks like, and more!
Anime Club Saturday, May 6 at 12:00 PM
All teens and adults interested in anime are welcome to join us on Saturday May 6th for our monthly Gibsonville Anime Club meeting. The Anime Club meets on the first Saturday of every month at noon. This event is intended for teens and adults.
Basic Email Class Thursday May 25 5:30pm
Join us at the library on May 25 at 5:30pm to learn email basics. The class will cover basic email functions including: logging in and out of your email, sending, receiving, and replying to email, recognizing and dealing with spam, and which tools & apps are needed for using email.
Tuesday Morning Storytimes 10:00 AM
Children birth – age 5 are invited (along with their caregivers) to visit the library for story time! Share songs, stories, and activities with Miss Ashley. Storytimes will be held in the library’s community room. On Tuesday May 9th we will host a special storytime at the Gibsonville Garden Railroad downtown on the Green. We will meet by the trains for storytime at 10AM.
Homeschool Activities Wednesdays at 11:00 AM

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities are designed for ages 6-12, and will usually take place in the library’s community room on Tuesdays at 4 PM. No registration is required – walk-ins and first-time visitors are welcome.
Knitting/Crochet Club
Like to knit or crochet? Want to learn? Come join the Knitting/Crochet club to get advice and share ideas with others who love knitting/crochet as much as you do. Open to all ages and skill levels. Supplies are available for anyone who doesn’t have their own. The Knitting Club will meet this month on Saturday, May 13 at 10am and Saturday, May 27 at 10am.
