Friends, Giving: Donate to the Community Pantry
Things are tough right now. Help us make things a little bit easier for folks in our community by donating nonperishable food items, basic toiletries, and baby supplies to the library’s Community Pantry. We have created a list of the items we hope to stock for our neighbors who need them.
You can also make a monetary donation to the Friends of the library to support the pantry. Add a note “Community Pantry” to your online donation or in the memo line if writing a check (made out to Friends of the Gibsonville Library).
Reaching those in need
Help us spread the word about our Community Pantry – especially if you are aware of a family or individual in our community that might be struggling with job or income loss at this time. Our pantry is open to anyone who needs it, there is no registration or qualification needed.

A huge thank-you to the Gibsonville UMC for this amazing new addition. This side-by-side is a fridge and freezer to accommodate fresh and frozen donations as space allows.
We are adding perishables to the list of requested items for donation.
Organize a food or supply drive
Anyone who wants to get involved can help stock our pantry by organizing a food or supply drive and advertising it to your neighborhood, church community, or social groups. We just ask that you contact the library first, and let us know when and where you’d like to hold your drive. We will take a look at our inventory and let you know what specific categories we are needing at that time (proteins, fruits, toiletries, etc.). We can also provide templates for flyers and text to put in emails or social posts.
**This is a great way for students to earn community service hours!
