About the Author
Thania Orellana was born in Choloma, Cortés, Honduras, Central America, has a degree in secondary education, and for 27 years she has been a literature and history teacher in bilingual schools in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. In 2019, she immigrated to North Carolina, in the United States. She works at the Gibsonville Public Library, where she builds connections with the local Hispanic community. Rosita and the Miracle of the Heavens is her first children’s story.

Thania Orellana nació en Choloma, Cortés, Honduras, Centroamérica, es licenciada en Educación Media, y por 27 años ha sido profesora de literatura e historia en colegios bilingües de San Pedro Sula, Honduras. En el año 2019 emigró a Carolina del Norte, Estados Unidos. Labora en la Biblioteca Pública de Gibsonville, adonde edifica conexiones con la comunidad hispana de la localidad. Rosita y el milagro de los cielos es su primer cuento infantil.
