News & Announcements: We’re having a birthday! The Gibsonville Public Library first opened to the public on June 5, 1956 – that makes us 63 years old this summer! When it opened, the library was located in the Whitesell Fuel Service office. It was open for three hours each week and staffed by volunteers from the Gibsonville Book Club.
